Documentation

A guide for complete beginners. Step by step and with pictures: how to sign in, what a draft is, how to write, how to read the marked changes, how to work with the AI agent and how to publish a change. You need to know nothing about IT.

Start with chapter one

  1. 01

    Getting started

From the invitation to your first open document. It takes five minutes and nothing can go wrong on the way.

  2. 02

    The basic ideas

Seven words are all you need in Delta Flow. If you know Word and a shared folder, you already know nearly all of them — they just have other names here.

  3. 03

What is where on the screen

The screen has four parts: a column of icons on the left, a panel beside it, the document in the middle and the AI agent on the right. It is enough to know which is which.

  4. 04

    Your first draft

The approved version cannot be overwritten. Whoever wants to change something starts a draft — with one click.

  5. 05

    Writing

Click into the text and write. Formatting is done with buttons, as in Word, and there is nothing to save.

  6. 06

    Changes

How to read the colours in the text, what the cards beside the page do, and how to accept or discard a change.

  7. 07

    Notes

A question about a sentence, a reminder for a colleague, an explanation from the agent. A note stays with the text it belongs to.

  8. 08

    The AI agent

A helper that can read and write in your documents. What to tell it, how to read its answer and how to check what it did.

  9. 09

    Approving and publishing

The way of a change from your draft to everybody else: accept, have it approved if you wish, publish.

  10. 10

    History

What a document looked like before, who changed it, and how to bring an earlier version back.

  11. 11

    Diagrams and tables

A procedure drawn as a picture, and a price list that adds itself up.

  12. 12

    Import, export and sharing

How to get existing documents in — and finished ones out again: to Word, onto paper, or as a link.

  13. 13

    Search, shortcuts and appearance

The small things that save the most time: finding a document, finding a word, switching the language or the dark look.

  14. 14

    What if…

Ten situations in which a beginner gets stuck most often — and what to do about them.

  15. 15

    Glossary

What the words in the app mean — and what people in IT call them, for the day you talk to them about Delta Flow.
