What the words in the app mean — and what people in IT call them, for the day you talk to them about Delta Flow.
Words for documents and their versions
Delta Flow stores documents in a system called git, which programmers use to keep track of changes. The app replaces its words with everyday ones — though the English interface still shows some of the originals. The third column says which is which.

Words for working in the app
| In the app | What it means |

| Markup | The coloured marking of changes in the text and their cards beside the page. |
| Card | The box beside the page that belongs to one change or one note. |
| Note | A question or a remark attached to a piece of text. |
| Agent | The AI helper that reads and edits documents on request. |
| Conversation | One exchange with the agent — one task. |
| WIP files | Uploaded files to draw on, which are not part of the documents. |
| Zen mode | A view in which only the page is shown. |
| Command palette | A quick way to find a document or an action (⌘K). |
