Notes

A question about a sentence, a reminder for a colleague, an explanation from the agent. A note stays with the text it belongs to.

Add a note

  1. Select the word or the sentence you want to say something about.
  2. Click the bubble with a plus in the bar (Add a note to the selection). On the keyboard: ⌘⌥A.
  3. A field opens beside the page. Write the note.
  4. Click Add — or press ⌘⏎.
A note on the selected words. The field opens beside the page, level with the text.

The note is stored with your name and the time, so it is always clear who asked.

Reply and resolve

Click a note to open it. Reply adds an answer under it, Resolve closes the discussion. A resolved note leaves the page but is not lost: the Resolved switch shows them again, and Reopen the thread brings a discussion back.

An opened note with Resolve and Reply. The words it belongs to are outlined in the text.

Notes from the agent

When the agent changes something, it attaches a note labelled Why (AI). It says why — which rule it went by, for example. You can reply to it or resolve it like any other.

A question about a change

Do not like a change and want to know why a colleague made it? On the card of the change, click Ask the author. A note is created right on that change, and the author is told about it.
